- Once you have entered your desired temperature setting push the temperature "SET" button (B.). This will show the actual temperature of the heating surface.
- Temperature range is from room temperature to 75°C; ±2°C.
- Place slides flat on the Slide Warmer surface to help warm more efficiently.
Calibration
- Turn the Slide Warmer on and allow it to warm up for 15 minutes.
- Use a surface or infrared thermometer to measure the average temperature between the edge of the heating surface and its center. If the difference between the measured average temperature and the temperature shown on the LED temperature display is more than 5°C, the Slide Warmer needs to be recalibrated.
How to Recalibrate
I. Adjust the difference between average surface temperature and displayed temperature
- Press and hold the "SET" button for 3 seconds. The LED temperature display will show "Sc".
- Press the "SET" button again and you will see the recalibration value begin to flash in the LED temperature display. This value can be adjusted so that the LED temperature display value and the measured average temperature of the heating surface are the same (the default value is 0.0).
- Use the "▲" or "▼" buttons to set the value between "-9.9" and "9.9".
For example: The measured average temperature of the heating surface is 30°C, but the LED temperature display shows 20°C. Use the "▲" button to add 10°C (the difference in temperature values). Then when you exit the settings selections (Step 7) the LED temperature display will read 30°C.
- Press the "SET" button again and "E" will be shown in the LED temperature display. Press the "SET" button again and "00.5" will be shown. DO NOT CHANGE THIS VALUE. It is a factory preset and changing it will cause the Slide Warmer to malfunction.
- Press the "SET" button again and "P" will be shown in the LED temperature display. Press the "SET" button again and "15.0" will be shown. See II. for instructions on when to adjust this value.
- Press the "SET" button again and "c" will be shown in the LED temperature display. Press the "SET" button again and "10.0" will be shown. DO NOT CHANGE THIS VALUE. It is a factory preset and changing it will cause the Slide Warmer to malfunction.
- Press the "SET" button again and your settings will be saved.
II. If the Slide Warmer does not maintain its recalibrated temperature
- Press and hold the "SET" button for 3 seconds until "Sc" is shown.
- Press the "SET" button 4 more times and "P" will be shown in the LED temperature display.
- Press the "SET" button again to see the value of "P"; this is the temperature control value. This value is equal to P/10°. This value can be adjusted so that the heating surface maintains a steady temperature. Use the "▲" or "▼" buttons to set the value between "0.00" and "99.9".
For example, if the LED temperature display value is "50.0" and the value of "P" is "10.0" the heater will turn off and on at P/10 = 10/10 = 1°C. So the heater will turn off at 51°C and heat back up if it falls below 49°C.
- If the temperature rises too slowly or it cannot reach the "SET" temperature increase the value of "P". If the temperature rises too fast or it surpasses the "SET" temperature decrease the value of "P".
- Press the "SET" button again and the LED temperature display shows "c" (see Step 6 above).
- Press the "SET" button again to save your settings.
- Monitor for 10 minutes and readjust values as necessary.

7X-90X Simul-Focal Trinocular Stereo Zoom Microscope w/Dual Halogen Lights and 3MP USB 2.0 C-mount Camera
Product Description
This microscope features a unique simul-focal optical system with an adjustable trinocular port to enable well-focused clear images on your computer/video screen while simultaneously obtaining sharp, focused images through the eyepieces. Most trinocular microscopes allow you to view either through the trinocular port or the eyepieces only, forcing you to switch between the two. Since these trinocular ports are not simul-focal with the rest of the microscope optical system, you have to re-focus the microscope after each switch. This microscope, however, erases this step by providing simul-focal viewing. Especially convenient for quality-control inspections, teaching demonstrations, and many other industry applications, your colleagues or students can simultaneously view clear images shown through the trinocular port while you work through the eyepieces.
This microscope comes with SUPER widefield optics alongside a versatile illumination system that provides both incident (top) lighting and transmitted (bottom) illumination, as well as a 3MP digital camera. You can choose between incident illumination shining down onto the object or transmitted illumination through the frosted stage plate. The first is used for the observation of three-dimensional objects and the second for the inspection of the objects that allow light to get through them like diamonds. The 45-degree inclined trinocular head and high-eyepoint design ensures comfortable observation, including eyeglass wearers. In addition, the rubber eye-guards provide further comfort. The trinocular port also allows the ability to add photographic or video capability.
This microscope offers high resolution and good depth within a broad field of view. It provides crystal clear sharp stereo images, 13:1 large zoom magnification range, and 4" (100mm) working distance. It can be used in gemology, geology, forestry, archaeology, agriculture and biology. It is appropriate for educational purposes in hospitals and schools. It is great for the exploration of the world of surface details and fine structures of various materials like wood, metal, solder, semiconductor and gemstones. It is perfect for the examination of insects, plants, rocks, stamps, coins, jewel, soldered points, microelectronic components, circuit boards or virtually any three dimensional objects.
The 3MP USB2.0 digital camera captures still images and video, and allows you to view a live stream on your PC. With software available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, it's a multi-platform imaging solution. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while capturing high-definition images. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version with limited processing features.

Since the microscope uses the same 76mm mount as our bestselling stereo microscopes, it can be used with a wide range of different support systems including boom arms and articulating arms.
High Definition 11.6” Monitor
The 11.6” monitor attaches to the table stand’s pillar using a mounting arm which places the monitor conveniently next to the microscope. The screen uses IPS technology to produce accurate colors when viewed from virtually any angle. Using HDMI, the 1080p video is crisp and lag-free.
Illumination
A clip-on 144-LED ring light can be detached or attached to the head as needed, providing bright, even, low-heat illumination.
