Viewing Head
To customize the microscope to your viewing comfort, the eyepiece spacing can be easily adjusted using a precision Siedentopf mechanism. A diopter is available on the left ocular tube to compensate for asymmetry, and the ocular tubes are angled at 38° to comfortably accommodate a seated position without neck strain. Various eyepieces can be used to increase the overall optical magnification.
Optics
The objective turret provides instant access to 3 magnification levels to focus on minute details from 40X to 1000X easily. Additional 25X eyepieces expand the maximum magnification to 1000X with 6 unique levels. This covers the magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
The Stage
The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for the examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level.
Transmitted Illumination
The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. The bottom light source is daylight-balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. With our specially developed fly-eye lens, the light is evenly distributed at maximum brightness to improve contrast and resolution. There is also an overhead light that can be switched on by flipping the power switch which allows you to illuminate larger subjects that cannot receive light from below such as fossils, rocks, and gemstones. Illumination is further enhanced by an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm, which can be dilated to limit the amount of light your subject receives.

- Top and bottom LED illumination provide incident or transmitted light for a wide variety of opaque and translucent objects.
- A versatile and portable rechargeable stereo microscope for biological and industrial applications
- The track stand provides the best stability, and uses high-quality rack-and-pinion movement.
Viewing Head
The microscope’s head uses compensation-free binocular adjustment to properly align with any user’s eyes. Each ocular tube is equipped with a diopter to compensate for astigmatism or to fine-tune focus when using a camera. The oculars are inclined at 45° for using while seated or standing. The 30.5mm ocular tubes provide an extra-large field-of-view, and accept a range of optional eyepieces.
Optics
Two pairs of objective lenses provide 10X and 30X stereo magnification when used with the included 10X eyepieces. This range is intended for common soldering and mechanical repair, and inspecting larger objects. The objective magnification can be changed by simply rotating the nosecone to switch lenses.
Support & Illumination
The microscope's stand uses a rack-and-pinion focusing track for precision adjustments and consistent alignment. A conveniently placed handle makes the instrument easy to carry when travelling, working in the field, or simply putting it away when the day is done. Integrated LED illumination can be used for reflected top-lighting when viewing opaque objects, or transmitted bottom-lighting when viewing translucent objects. This allows the instrument to excel in biological applications, including dissection, as well as industrial applications like QC, soldering and mechanical repair.
The built-in lithium battery makes it ideal for portable use between workshops and in the field applications.
