Compound Microscopes

The B100-MS is an entry-level biological compound microscope which emphasizes high-quality optics over mechanical form. All of the necessary functionality is present in an intuitive form factor which is ideally suited for classroom use. The B100 uses a traditional layout which is beneficial for students and other first-time users.
The binocular head can be customized for each user, with a sliding interpupillary adjuster for varying eye spacing, and diopters for both eyes to fine-tune focus for nearsighted users and for asymmetry. The head can be rotated 360°, and has a 45° incline for viewing while seated or standing. Interchangeable eyepieces allow for an expanded magnification range, or the use of special eyepieces with pointers and measuring reticles.
The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
The stage is equipped with two clips for holding slides and other specimens in place. Additionally, a mechanical caliper is included to provide more precise positioning of specimen slides when using high magnifications. The microscope uses independent focus knobs to control coarse and fine adjustments. An adjustable limit-stop mechanism can be used to prevent the lenses from making contact with specimens, preventing damage to the lenses and glass slides.
The LED light-source produces a warmer light which is less fatiguing for the eyes, as well as evenly rendering all colors. A rotating Abbe condenser controls the amount of light and contrast.

The M500-LED is a fully-functional entry-level rechargeable microscope for classrooms and clinics. This model includes a mechanical caliper which provides precise positioning when viewing specimen slides. Unlike many microscopes in its class, it uses DIN industry-standard optics, making it compatible with a large selection of objective lenses and eyepieces. Another feature that sets it apart is its 100X oil-immersion objective lens which provides ultra-high magnification. All of the necessary functionality is present in an intuitive form factor which is ideally suited for classroom use. The microscope uses a traditional layout which is beneficial for students and other first-time users.
The monocular head keeps things simple. The use of a single eyepiece means that no adjustments are necessary for eye alignment or symmetrical focus. The head can rotate 360° for viewing from different positions. Interchangeable eyepieces allow you to change the overall magnification with optional lenses, or use a camera in place of the eyepiece to view microscopic images on a computer monitor or other display.
A mechanical caliper is included, which can be attached to the stage to precisely position specimen slides. The microscope uses independent focus knobs to control coarse and fine adjustments. An adjustable limit-stop mechanism can be used to prevent the lenses from making contact with specimens, preventing damage to the lenses and glass slides.
The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. Better yet, the microscope has rechargeable batteries installed, allowing it to operate without being plugged in after a complete charge. The light-source is daylight balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. The height-adjustable light-condenser precisely focuses light onto the specimen, with an iris-diaphragm to control contrast and focus depth.

A sub-stage mirror is included as an alternate light source when electricity is not available. The mirror can be mounted on top of the illuminator’s field lens to direct ambient light into the condenser.
Darkfield
This model includes a darkfield condenser which can be used in place of the standard Abbe condenser to improve contrast and highlight certain details in low-contrast specimens. While certain specimens may be difficult to observe using brightfield illumination, darkfield exploits variances in specimen consistency by highlighting changes in refractive index. By avoiding a staining process, some live cells and microorganisms can be observed in their natural states. The condenser is designed to work with objective lenses up to 40X with numerical apertures below 0.9.

The OMAX MD827S30L brings photomicrography to the classroom or clinic. This hybrid design combines all of the fundamental functionality needed in optical microscopy with 3MP integrated digital imaging.
The MD827 series microscope uses a binocular viewing head. To customize the microscope to your viewing comfort, the eyepiece spacing can be easily adjusted using a simple sliding mechanism. Diopters are available on each ocular tube to fine-tune the eyepieces, and the ocular tubes are angled at 45° to accommodate sitting or standing. Various eyepieces can be used to increase the overall optical magnification without changing the camera's magnification.
The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. For traditional viewing, additional 20X eyepieces extend the maximum magnification to 2000X, and provides 8 distinct levels of magnification. The high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. The light-source is daylight balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. Additionally, specialized condensers are available for advanced techniques, such as darkfield and phase-contrast.
A phase-contrast kit is included with a 5-position turret condenser and 4 achromatic phase-contrast objective lenses. Phase contrast is used to reveal detail in indistinct objects, such as unstained cells and microorganisms that would otherwise appear invisible. By using a combination of specialized objective lenses and a modified light condenser, these invisible objects can be visualized by manipulating variations in phase. This turret condenser allows you to easily rotate through the brightfield and four phase-contrast settings (10X, 20X, 40X, 100X). Each phase-contrast setting has a centerable annulus for proper alignment.

IQCrew's Early Explorer Series helps young children develop an early appetite for science by providing easy-to-use instruments that make learning fun. Microscopes are an important part of any laboratory because so much science happens at the microscopic level. Our goal is to not only provide the WOW factor but to guide the user through real scientific exploration.
The M29 microscope is a great tool for elementary-level education. The traditional monocular design uses a single eyepiece, which simplifies viewing by eliminating the difficulty of focusing with both eyes. Three lenses can be easily rotated into place for three different levels of magnification, and the adjustable eyepiece can zoom in for even more detail. A built-in LED provides the light needed to produce bright images. Setup is easy. Install two AA batteries (not included), then switch on the LED light. Place the already-prepared specimen-slide included with the microscope on the viewing stage. Start at the lowest magnification, and use the focus knob to bring the image into focus. Move the slide around until you find something interesting. Now you can change the magnification to get closer and closer. You'll be amazed by what you see! Contents:One Microscope
