The OMAX MD827S30L brings photomicrography to the classroom or clinic. This hybrid design combines all of the fundamental functionality needed in optical microscopy with 3MP integrated digital imaging.
The MD827 series microscope uses a binocular viewing head. To customize the microscope to your viewing comfort, the eyepiece spacing can be easily adjusted using a simple sliding mechanism. Diopters are available on each ocular tube to fine-tune the eyepieces, and the ocular tubes are angled at 45° to accommodate sitting or standing. Various eyepieces can be used to increase the overall optical magnification without changing the camera's magnification.
The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. For traditional viewing, additional 20X eyepieces extend the maximum magnification to 2000X, and provides 8 distinct levels of magnification. The high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. The light-source is daylight balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. Additionally, specialized condensers are available for advanced techniques, such as darkfield and phase-contrast.
An oil darkfield condenser and a 100X plan-achromatic darkfield objective lens are included for darkfield observation at high magnification. The condenser works with dry and immersion lenses, providing optimal contrast with oil objectives. The 100X darkfield objective has a built-in iris to manipulate its numerical aperture. This lets you fine-tune the contrast. Darkfield observation will provide contrast in otherwise indistinguishable objects by highlighting changes in refractive index. This is particularly helpful for live cell study including blood cell analysis.

A dry darkfield condenser is included for darkfield observation using the 40X objective lens or lower. With a 0.9 numerical aperture, the condenser works with non-immersion lenses. Darkfield observation will provide contrast in otherwise indistinguishable objects by highlighting changes in refractive index.

The T120 trinocular compound microscope is designed for teaching demonstrations, clinical examinations and laboratory applications. It is an ideal microscope for teachers and students, including those in medical school or with a major in biology. It has a number of advancements in functionality compared to other microscopes in its class, such as enhanced LED lighting, centerable condenser, and Siedentopf head adjustments. Use the microscope for studying fixed or live cells, bacteria, plants and soil, or water samples.
To customize the microscope to your viewing comfort, the eyepiece spacing can be easily adjusted using a precision Siedentopf mechanism. A diopter is available on the left ocular tube to compensate for asymmetry, and the ocular tubes are angled at 30° to comfortably accommodate a seated position without neck strain. Various eyepieces can be used to increase the overall optical magnification. The trinocular photo-port adds a dedicated mounting tube for cameras. The 23mm tube is height-adjustable to fine-tune the focus to match the eyepieces.
The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. Additional 25X eyepieces expand the maximum magnification to 2500X with 6 unique levels. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level.
The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. The light-source is daylight balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. With our specially developed fly-eye lens, the light is evenly distributed at maximum brightness to improve contrast and resolution. Illumination is further enhanced by a centerable Abbe condenser, which can be realigned for any magnification to guarantee proper lighting.
Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 3MP digital eyepiece camera. The compact, lightweight camera can be used in place of an eyepiece to watch live images, and to record photos or videos on your computer. This ability to view microscopic images on your computer reduces eye-strain, and allows groups of people to view images at the same time. Our professional software for Windows provides a wide assortment of capture and photo-editing functions including color correction, time-lapse capture, image stitching, and a full complement of measuring tools. A lite version of our software is available for Mac and Linux with essential functionality for capturing photos and videos.

The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. For traditional viewing, additional 25X eyepieces extend the maximum magnification to 2500X, and provides 6 distinct levels of magnification.

The M500-LED is a fully-functional entry-level rechargeable microscope for classrooms and clinics. This model includes a mechanical caliper which provides precise positioning when viewing specimen slides. Unlike many microscopes in its class, it uses DIN industry-standard optics, making it compatible with a large selection of objective lenses and eyepieces. Another feature that sets it apart is its 100X oil-immersion objective lens which provides ultra-high magnification. All of the necessary functionality is present in an intuitive form factor which is ideally suited for classroom use. The microscope uses a traditional layout which is beneficial for students and other first-time users.
The monocular head keeps things simple. The use of a single eyepiece means that no adjustments are necessary for eye alignment or symmetrical focus. The head can rotate 360° for viewing from different positions. Interchangeable eyepieces allow you to change the overall magnification with optional lenses, or use a camera in place of the eyepiece to view microscopic images on a computer monitor or other display.
The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. An additional 25X eyepiece expands the maximum magnification to 2500X with 6 unique levels. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
The stage is equipped with two clips for holding slides and other specimens in place. A mechanical caliper is included, which can be attached to the stage to precisely position specimen slides. The microscope uses independent focus knobs to control coarse and fine adjustments. An adjustable limit-stop mechanism can be used to prevent the lenses from making contact with specimens, preventing damage to the lenses and glass slides.
The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. Better yet, the microscope has rechargeable batteries installed, allowing it to operate without being plugged in after a complete charge. The light-source is daylight balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. The height-adjustable light-condenser precisely focuses light onto the specimen, with an iris-diaphragm to control contrast and focus depth.
