The T340-LED trinocular compound microscope is designed for educational and professional use. The medium-sized profile offers streamlined ergonomics with plenty of working room. The heavy-duty metal build and enamel coating will last for many years through rigorous use.
To customize the microscope to your viewing comfort, the eyepiece spacing can be easily adjusted using a precision Siedentopf mechanism. A diopter is available on the left ocular tube to compensate for asymmetry, and the ocular tubes are angled at 30° to comfortably accommodate a seated position without neck strain. The head can also be rotated 360° to accommodate multiple users. Various eyepieces can be used to increase the overall optical magnification. The trinocular photo-port adds a dedicated mounting tube for cameras. The 23mm tube is height-adjustable to fine-tune the focus to match the eyepieces.
The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level. An adjustable height limit can be set to prevent damage to the lenses and specimens while focusing.
The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. The light-source is daylight balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. The Abbe light condenser has a high 1.25 numerical aperture for oil-immersion, and an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and depth-of-field. The condenser holder uses rack-and-pinion height adjustment for precision control.

Zoom Optics
Allows users to further hone in on the specimen by utilizing the digital zoom which can be increased or decreased by rotating the Right knob on the control panel up to a maximum of 20X.
Digital Imaging
The built-in camera and 7” screen bring images to life with clarity and precision. Use the included controls to capture photos and video along with a variety of enhancement features such as exposure, brightness, and contrast. Save images and video directly to the included 32gb MicroSD card for storage and transfer to PC or MAC. You can also utilize the HDMI cable to connect to and display on a larger screen such as a TV or monitor. The screen can be folded down for easy transportation and storage.
Ergonomics and Illumination
The microscope is pre-mounted to a tabletop stand with rack-and-pinion focus, and dual illumination. Focus is controlled by symmetrical knobs located on either side of the track-style column. The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides.
Rechargeable and Portable
This microscope includes a battery that allows for portable use and can be operated while recharging using the included USB-C cable.

USB-C Rechargeable & Portable
A USB-C to USB-A cable and three rechargeable AA batteries are included, giving more options for how and where you are able to use your microscope. The low power consumption allows you to plug into any USB port such as a wall adapter, laptop/PC, or power bank to power the LED illuminator and simultaneously charge the batteries. This makes it the perfect microscope for large classrooms where power outlets are limited or for field research and mobile labs. The USB-C cable should only be plugged into the microscope when rechargeable batteries or no batteries are installed. Never plug in power when normal AA batteries are in the microscope.
Viewing Head

These lenses can be used with a wide range of C-Mount cameras to easily integrate into standalone or computer-based workflows. The 50mm mounting diameter works with small-profile table-stands and large-format boom and articulating supports. Multiple illumination options are available to complete the package.
Zoom Optics
The M5M745 lens provides a 0.7X to 4.5X zoom range with stunning clarity. The continuous zoom allows you to increase and decrease magnification quickly and precisely. This C075 model includes an integrated 0.75X compensating lens to optimize the field of view for 2/3" format and smaller camera sensors.
Support Options
M5M745 series lenses are designed to be used with a range of support systems, including table stands, boom stands, and articulating stands. The lens can be mounted in 50mm collars, or combined with the AD-SZ76 adapter to fit the 76mm collars used by our most popular stands.
Single Lens vs Stereo
While stereo microscopes view subjects with three-dimensional depth for applications such as micro-soldering and dissection, the stereo lens design is not optimal for producing accurate photos or videos due to off-axis, angular distortion and keystoning. Using a single lens allows you to view subjects on a single axis to achieve focus across the entire field, and without the angular distortion. This makes the single lens ideal for video monitoring systems and photomicrography. By providing a similar magnification range as stereo microscopes, the single-lens solution can easily fit into similar workflows.
