The simul-focal trinocular head provides a dedicated photo port which can be used simultaneously with both eyepieces. With brightfield and darkfield illumination, this model is ideal for bloodwork, fluid-analysis, and pathology.
An oil darkfield condenser and specialized 100X darkfield objective lens are included for darkfield observation. The condenser is designed for use with immersion oil and can accommodate higher numerical-aperture lenses. The 100X plan-achromatic lens has a built-in iris to adjust its numerical aperture for fine-tuning contrast.
