The Bushnell Velocity
The Bushnell Velocity is a straightforward, easy-to-use, hand-held radar speed gun that displays the most recent highest recorded speed on its built-in screen. It does not capture photos or store data, but it is known for being highly accurate, making it ideal for sports training, industrial use, and general speed testing. (Not intended for enforcement or use on public roads.)
A range of kit options is available — from the speed gun on its own to bundles that include a tuning fork with a calibration certificate, tripod, and protective hard case.
The Bushnell Velocity is factory-calibrated and does not require periodic recalibration throughout its lifespan under normal use.
The accuracy test involves using 3 x different speed-gun verified tuning forks and 3 x different sets of batteries over a time frame of about 3 days, and a live road test compared side by side with a different type of speed gun.
This is not a recalibration of the device but a test to check if the speed gun shows accurate results.
Test duration is around 3 days.
